Bir nişanlı çiftin, küçük bir kasabada araçları bozulur ve bu beklenmedik durum, onları kimsenin bilmediği büyük bir sırrın içine sürükler. Kasabanın sakinleri yüzyıllık bir zombi sırrını saklamaktadır ve çiftimiz bu gerçeği öğrendiklerinde işler iyice karışır. Kasaba halkının bu korkunç sırrı nasıl bu kadar uzun süre saklayabildiği ve zombilerin ortaya çıkmadan nasıl yüzlerce yıl var olabildikleri sorusu, film boyunca izleyicilerin aklını meşgul ediyor. Film, sürükleyici atmosferi ve merak uyandıran konusuyla izleyiciyi ekrana kilitliyor. Karakterler arasında gelişen ilişkiler, zorluklar karşısında verdikleri mücadele ve hayatta kalma istekleri, bu karanlık sırrı açığa çıkardıkça daha da derinleşiyor.
